serien.lighting in the Direktorenhaus
Since May 2010 the Direktorenhaus in Berlin Mitte has been an important center for applied art and a presentation platform for contemporary artists.Now on 23.9.2010 the second floor is to be officially opened and will include a café. Lighting was sponsered by serien.lighting.
Official visitor!
Official guest at serien.lighting: During his visit in July 2010 Landrat Oliver Quilling found out about company activities and procedures. During a guided tour he was shown the company operational facilities and the latest designs.
IF Award: Prize-winning catalog!
Reason to celebrate: Our current main catalog has just received the iF communication design award 2010. It was conceived in close cooperation with the Frankfurt-based agency sign communication and found favor with the Jury in the category “Print media – corporate communication”.
Elane Floor: Efficient and delicate
Elane Floor is a complement to the attractive table luminaire Elane. Using the same simple and elegant styling serien.lighting joined forces with designer Jacob Timpe to developed a reading luminaire.
Two nominations for the “Prize of prizes”!
Our "One Eighty Suspension" and "Job" luminaires have both been nominated for the German Design Award 2011. The latter is conferred by the German Design Council on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology, and is the highest official German distinction in the design area.
On the dot with One Eighty Suspension!
Our One Eighty Suspension luminaire has won the cherished red dot design award 2010 for ultimate design quality. It is one of the most important international design prizes.

The Poppy family has had good-looking offspring. The wild and young are called quite simply Poppy Wall and Poppy Ceiling 1, 2, 3 and 5, depending on the number of their arms. And these can be arranged as you like, from wildly interlaced to accurately positioned, but never boring.

Special show at Licht im Raum.
For two months we are presenting the newcomers in our collection as a special exhibition at Licht im Raum in Düsseldorf. The show will be held from the beginning of January until the end of February, 2010. We look forward to greeting visitors.

Euroluce 2009

Basis in Osaka.
The exhibition “Less and More. The Design Ethos of Dieter Rams” opened in Osaka on November 14, 2008. It shows works by Dieter Rams and the Braun and Vitsoe teams, as well as milestones in German and European design from the 20th century. serien.lighting is contributing to the exhibition with the halogen floor lamp Basis.
