Slice Wall boasts high output but minimum energy consumption. Like its sister, the floor luminaire Slice, it meets the requirement for optimum lighting for modern workspaces as well as their appealing design. At first glance its powerful potential can only be surmised, because as opposed to traditional examples of this type of luminiare Slice Wall is extremely flat and slender. Fitted with the latest generation of compact fluorescent bulbs and operating devices it is highly efficient in terms of energy consumption.
Prism glass, metal-vaporized from the inside, increases the light output and also ensures absolutely glare-free light. The reflector and anti-glare technology is highly effective and was developed specially for the Slice family of luminaires. The metal vaporizing process controls the balance between indirect and direct light. On request the angle of transmission and reflection can be adjusted to suit individual objects. The luminaire can also be switched on and off by means of an optional external motion sensor.
Slice Wall is scheduled to be available in the 2nd quarter 2010.
